Two new supermarkets and five gas stations, balance of SiGLA operations with the Basque group

SiGLA, which has already developed more than twenty gas stations for Eroski, has successfully completed the adaptation of five, among those neglected, to the new safety regulations.

The last of the Eroski Supermarkets was inaugurated yesterday, Thursday, November 25, in Miranda de Ebro, Burgos. It is a single establishment that results from the grouping of three existing premises, thereby achieving an area of ​​1,550m2 for a Sales Room of 975m2. Located on Ctra. de Logroño, in front of the Buen Pastor church, it also has access from Vicente Alexandre street.

In the case of the new Erandio Supermarket, it is a large premises under newly developed housing, with 1,062m2 built. Located in the Astrabudua neighborhood, it is very close to the Bilbao Metro stop. The development of this establishment culminated on October 28 with its inauguration and subsequent opening.

In both cases, the SiGLA team has carried out the project, the management for its legalization and obtaining licenses and the direction and management of the work, including its complete authorization to operate as such a supermarket.

Regarding gas stations, the three operations in 2021, which are added to another 2 completed in 2020, have consisted of adapting the facilities to DECREE 165/2018 of the Basque Government on requirements that unattended facilities must meet for the retail supply of fuels and fuels for vehicles, which is especially demanding with this type of gas stations, which also include the “low cost” or “unstaffed” ones that are proliferating in recent times.

SiGLA’s technical teams have successfully completed these adaptations, ahead of other competitors’ standards in time, with responsibility for engineering, legalization, construction management and the necessary facilities, so we can speak of a “key” operation. in hand”.
