SiGLA, regeneration works in the Tantorta neighborhood

With the delivery to the citizens of Amorebieta-Etxano,

SiGLA successfully completes the regeneration works in the Tantorta neighborhood

At the end of March 2022, the urban regeneration project entrusted to SiGLA as general contractor and operations coordinator is concluded.

A new access roundabout, sidewalks, roads, a bus stop with its canopy, 30 new parking spaces, public lighting, a bridge and trees; on the main road (San Pedro Street), the creation of water, low voltage, telephone facilities,… A public park with children’s games, trees, gardening and a small wooden bridge complete this action that once completed will be has been delivered to the city council in the month of April.

What was a degraded suburban area is now presented as an entrance to the Basque population with careful urban planning and equipped with the most modern infrastructure.

The suburban-looking plot, with 8,800m2, which dominated the surroundings, is now occupied by a new unique building from the Eroski Center brand, with 2,200m2 built and a parking lot for 145 vehicles, which has also been built under the coordination of SiGLA as general contractor.

The new establishment has been built incorporating the most modern eco-efficiency and sustainability technologies in which SiGLA specializes: generation and preservation of cold, refrigerants that are not aggressive to the environment, LED lighting with intelligent programming,… thereby achieving a drastic reduction of the footprint and a saving of more than 35% in energy consumption.
