Bricomart will be installed in the El Mirador Shopping Center.

It will be the opening of the first establishment of the chain specializing in construction materials in the Canary Islands.

SiGLA’s asset management area has sought the sale of a commercial plot to Groupe Adeo for the installation of its first Bricomart establishment in Gran Canaria. This is 12,000m2 of urbanized land in the El Mirador shopping complex, in Las Palmas.

Once the operation was signed, construction works began in February of this year 2016 with the aim of opening to the public just one year later, in February 2017. This implementation will follow the recent openings of Bricomart Sestao in April of this year and Bricomart Alcorcón in mid-November. It will be the first opening of next year 2017 for the Bricomart department store chain, which is already present in France (35 stores), Spain (14), Italy (11) and Poland (6).

The El Mirador shopping complex is one of the largest developed by SiGLA professionals. Inaugurated in November 2010, it has a Shopping Center with 90,000m2 of GLA for 124 stores and a hypermarket, three parking lots with capacity for 4,000 vehicles and 6 commercial plots of between 3,000 and 5,000m2 for the establishment of medium-sized retail operators. free standing, in addition to the plot that Bricomart has acquired and develops.
