With 22,100 m² and 27 refueling points

The service station, owned by MLC, is located in Urnieta, Guipúzcoa, 26 km from France.

In an operation that included engineering, project design, legalization, project management, and construction management, SiGLA has successfully completed the development and opening of this complex facility, which began operating to the public on Saturday, August 30.

The service station is located in the Erratzu Industrial Park, in the Guipúzcoa municipality of Urnieta, just a few kilometers from the border with Irún. This is a strategic location, given that the establishment is geared towards transport professionals.

On a 22,100 m² site, the refueling area is protected by a 1,115 m² canopy that houses 27 positions in 20 lanes; 23 pumps for heavy vehicles and 4 for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. With 12 underground tanks, this facility is capable of storing 1,330,000 liters of fuel.

The station also includes a secure parking lot with 40 spaces, each equipped with an electric charger to maintain the cold chain in refrigerated vehicles, as well as a building with restrooms, showers, and other amenities.

The wash area includes an automatic car wash for trailers and another for light vehicles, as well as four manual wash bays for light vehicles, both commercial and passenger cars.

The service station is completed with a convenience store and café-restaurant in an adjoining building with a floor area of 1,000 m². It has a car park with 60 spaces, including two spaces for people with reduced mobility, and a 150 kW fast charger for electric vehicles.

All the sustainability and efficiency measures that SiGLA applies at its gas stations and service stations have been used in the construction, both in the building itself and in the operation of the business, including a photovoltaic power plant on the large canopy.

The station is equipped to operate 24 hours a day, as are the shop, secure parking, and washing facilities. It was developed by SiGLA for MLC Energía, an operator focused on transport professionals with more than 80 gas stations and service stations throughout the peninsula.
