After a process in which offers from different specialist companies in the sector have been evaluated, Gestora Mediterránea de Infraestructuras, the company that owns the car park, has chosen to grant Vinci Park España the management contract for the operation of floor –1 of the Francisco Norte car park. in Marbella.
Vinci Park Spain belongs to the Vinci industrial group and has operated in Spain since 1994, currently managing 39 car parks throughout the country.
The Vinci Group, of French origin, is one of the largest European companies in the construction, public infrastructure, energy and water sectors, and operates in more than 100 countries employing 183,000 people around the world.
Gestora Mediterránea de Infraestructuras has sought the quality of service to the user as a fundamental aspect in this award, valuing the experience of Vinci Park España in the management of rotating parking lots, both municipal and private, in Shopping Centers, airports, hospitals, railway stations,… Vinci Park Spain has certifications 9001 for Quality and 14001 for Environmental Management.
The investment company hopes that the new operator will launch the parking lot in the coming days, once the Marbella City Council opens traffic on Francisco Norte and Notario Luis Oliver streets, access and exit necessary to begin serving Marbella residents. .
The Francisco Norte car park is made up of 2 underground floors. Floor –1, with a capacity of 330 vehicles, will be dedicated to public parking of vehicles in rotation with a ticket, while floor –2 is reserved for private parking for individuals, neighbors, professionals, merchants and hoteliers in the downtown area. investors who have been acquiring ownership of the parking spaces on this floor since last May.
The car park has four cores of stairs as pedestrian access and exit to the sports plaza that runs on the surface and two large ramps for vehicle access and exit to Luis Oliver Street and Ricardo Soriano Avenue.
